Thread: ⚔️ Illerai ⚔️ - Leaders in Innovative Content

As may or may not be obvious, it's been a while since we posted any sizable updates, and we want to let you all know that we in no way are slacking off. Over the past month or so, we've been steadily working on a number of important features of the server such as skills, bosses, client plugins, and our website.

The matter to address in this announcement here is that we've decided we will abandon this thread and create a new one. The reason for this is that we don't feel like the current thread suits the server anymore, as the scope, potential and achievements of the project have greatly increased since this thread was initially posted.

Back at the start of this year, Illerai accomplished what it initially set out to do; to breathe a bit of fresh air into OSRS through our signature new combat mechanic, a few new bosses, and some new items to go with them.

The server has come a pretty long way since then. We have re-evaluated and tidied up several pieces of prior content both vanilla and custom, we delved into map editing to make new environments as needed, we expanded our lore through fresh custom quests, we have designed a fair amount of new items to integrate into the game, and coupled with a steady supply of models we pretty much make our additions to the game unrestrained by anything but time and effort requirements.

We also have admittedly failed to make sure our thread kept up with us, and fear it's left the wrong impression for too long. Such is what will lead to the thread being rewritten, restructured and updated.

Not to worry, as we won't be gone for too long. Furthermore, here's a few server updates to look forward to when we post our new thread:
- The skill that separates servers that have it from those that don't; Construction comes soon to Illerai! If you're a member of our Discord server, you know we're not making false promises on this one.
- The other significant skill that separates servers that half-bake it and those that don't, Farming used to be such rubbish it was scrapped a while ago and redone recently.
- Yet another big skilling surprise. We're keeping the wraps on this one until it's time, though.
- Bosses. It's not all skilling in here, a fair bunch of bosses needed to be touched up to one extent or another to be more faithful to OSRS. We'll get there steadily, if slowly as we approach the more complex ones.
