    The server is launched, Hop on and try it out. *NOTE* I will be modifying this post in the future with our goals

    Introduction:

    Frantic v1.0 was originally opened in Late August 2017 by Durky, Shaqattack & Jake. In early September Jacob(rsgoldfund owner) joined the team and came on to advertise Frantic. September Frantic saw 100+ online but was not quite to where we wanted it to be so in October Frantic launched a $8,000 ad campaign which put the server into the top 10 of every top list & put us at a peak of 175 players with a consistent 100+ for a full month. During November Frantic had some development sided troubles (Durky our main developer became extremely busy IRL) and bugs were cropping up which were causing people to quit - we lost close to 100+ players at this time in early November which put our new peak in November to roughly 90 with a average player count of 40-60. This was around the time we started realizing that Frantic as a whole was not sustainable long-term, our project originally went from 5-10 online peaking 15-20 to averaging 100+ everyday with a peak of 175 and we rapidly realized our economy had suffered far to much for any sinks we attempted to be effective, realizing this the two owners of Frantic sat down and discussed possible solutions(I.E- Putting the current Frantic on a separate world, launching a completely new revision, etc.) Around a week ago the two owners decided it was no longer feasible to continue running Frantic as a shadow of what it should of been. We came to the conclusion that Frantic needed new life, new players and a new style of slightly harder gameplay which is why we have decided to completely reset Frantic(Stats/Economy/Etc). With this reset we have a loose launch date of Sunday December 17th, failing that we likely will launch on the 23rd of December or 1st of January (No Date is set in stone yet). We realized we have fantastic potential for Frantic to go to #1, we have been systematically eliminating all bugs and adding new content for Frantic v2.0 players to enjoy.


    Whats being changed?
    -The entire ECO structure. Every account will be 100% reset.
    -All players with accounts created on frantic V1 will receive a permanent 2x Exp bonus.
    -Donators will receive their current status +1,
    -Clarification - We have a new rank Structure so all Sponsors will become Supremes ( 100$ donators) ,All extremes will become Legendarys ( 500$ donators), etc.
    -Anyone who donated in the month of December will receive all their credits back. (Upon you requesting with us, good until January 5th).
    -We may offer another incentive to previous donators, we just aren't sure what yet, because if we give every player their full amount back even the ones who quit, we will have problem with our eco right off the bat again.

    What are the Major plans?

    Green is completed : Red is Not completed

    Drops:
    All drops will be made harder, estimated to be around 1:500 currently, we are at about 1:150 with total drop rate bonus's of 40%
    All Bonus drop system are being removed from the game. We will only be keeping a few of them
    5% from ROW ( after 250 kills your Row disintegrates ).
    2.5% prestige level 5+
    10% Bonus for legendary (current)
    10% Ironman (current)
    25% HCI
    35% Ultimate Ironman ( no banking one)
    20% for 12 hour game play scrolls (1$ in donation store).

    If you don't see it on this list, its because its removed. So all Prem and donator rings are gone.


    PvP:

    We made PvP far to good for making money, along with the Bots, and farming items that shouldn't be allowed to be obtained from PvP.

    The following changes are being made:

    Blood Money is replacing PkP.
    Bounty Board will only accept blood money now
    Vote book offers 10BM per vote
    ::food, ::barrage, ::veng are now free once every 2 minutes.
    Blood money rates re-worked
    PvP reward systems reworked

    Vote books able to be claimed per day for Blood money capped at 25.
    All the shops are getting an overhaul


    Bots:
    - They will no longer drop their gear.
    - They will only offer a small chance at a rare item
    - They will drop Blood money at a 1/2 the rate of player kills
    - Bots are getting an overhaul making them stronger and harder to kill,
    along with new Special attack weapons.
    - More variations of bots will be added ( after release ).


    PvP only items:

    AGS & Dragon claws
    All Barrows Gear


    Note:
    We have new (pvp) items These items can be charged with blood money, and if you're killed with them you always drop blood money. The AGS and Dragon claws have had their accuracy rates nerfed compared to the PvM obtained versions to allow the PvM Versions to still be the best in slot for the wilderness, With out limiting the PvP aspects of our " Instant " pvp.
    You must have a set minimum amount of charges to be able to use these items, and a warning message will be sent when entering the wilderness if you're close to that minimum. You can right click check and recharge these items, for quick charging, Or use blood money on the item to charge it.
    You never lose these items, You can't high alch these items, and you can't drop these items, how ever you can delete them if you do try to drop them ( no way to get the barrows back).


    Skilling:
    All Skilling Exp rates for all accounts will be set to x5 of OSRS. ( Some will be inflated while we work on re-coding our skilling, but the modifiers will all be set to x5 down from x30 now)
    For example:
    5x x (2x(well) x 2x(voting) x 2x(frantic 1 players) x 2x (wilderness) * Donation benefit (1.1x ->2x) = 88x - 160x

    We are completely reworking our skilling aspects, We want as many skills as possible to be profitable So here are our Key changes to certain skills:

    RuneCrafting:
    -You can no longer sell any item to any store.
    -Nature runes can no longer be sold in stores,
    -fire runes have been priced at 25gp per rune.
    -99 RC and 100$+ donator == 3x


    Smithing & Mining:

    -Mining 1 ore, smelting 1 bar, smithing 1 item grants you 2x high alch to any smithed item
    -95 smithing to attach vissage, NPC price increased to 10m, Nails now required to level up construction



    Fishing:
    -The highest free food available is sharks
    -Dark crab, Karambwan, Manta ray, and angler fishing will be added.

    Woodcutting:
    -Wood cutting speeds are being adjusted they are 2 quick, coding the proper 1/8th of a chance when receiving logs to chop down a tree

    Fletching:
    -Magic long bows & Yew longbows fully strung will high alch for 2x, the spell for bowstring will be added.

    Crafting:
    -Dragonstones are being made rare, and you can enchant them for 5% drop rate bonus, but this ring only last 250kills.

    Theiving:
    -Stalls are being drastically nerfed and changed, Master farmer will be a good source of herb seeds for creating the herblore potions.

    Herblore:
    -Anti-fires, super anti-fires, and anti venom will be worth making, as we are going to buff the NPC's to require players to need these items.

    Construction:
    -Make 90 construction a requirement then you can create instant alch scrolls, they cost 2 nature runes, and 10 fire runes ( can't use a fire staff). These instant high alch scrolls can be used on another item to instantly high alch it, So ideally you'll want a stack of 100, to use on a stack of 100 magic longbows (s) to instantly high alch all 100.

    Hunter:
    -ChinChompa's for range training are going to be buffed so they are by far the best range training items.

    General Changes:

    All Npcs have been made a lot harder, Npc weakness has been modified, so using an NPC's actual weakness will be more beneficial for hitting.
    Pest Control lamps set to 15k, for combat, and 7.5k for Skilling ( doesn't not benefit from modifiers).
    You can no longer sell to shops. Our old server had Billions and Billions of GP brought in from selling, that is now capped to high alch only.
    Check and Remove all GP gainers.
    All Drops have been adjusted, We don't want excess amounts of rune essence, etc. being added in to the game. along with the drop rate increase on all major rare items.
    Removing pretty much every single custom in game, including lime whip and other coloured party hats.
    6 hour perks have been disabled until we launch and see where we should put these perks
    Well of goodwill lowered from 12 hours 100m to 2hrs and 20m.
    removing worldly impling spawns have been removed, including the wilderness ones.
    PvM Chest, and Crystal key rewards and rates have been reworked.
    Slayer Point system and rewards reworked.
    Wilderness Bosses need reworked. Removed until our plan is finalized.
    Gambler is being reworked in some way, not sure how ( but he will be removed on release ).



    Add some Quick load out options for the new Barrows PvP gear.
    Augury and Rigour scrolls will be implemented in to raids, and you can't use the prayers until you have unlocked them.
    M boxes, Donation store, Vote Store, PvM Points Store, PvP Shops are being reworked.



    Modes & Bonuses:

    Exp Rates:
    Casual: Able to set combat, 5x Skilling Exp
    Legends - 30x combat, 5x skilling (including prayer)
    Ironman - 20x combat, 5x skilling
    Hardcore ironman - 10x, 5x skilling
    Ultimate ironman - 10x, 5x skilling

    All Exp in wilderness increased by 2x
    Well activated +2x exp
    Vote Books +2x exp
    Old player bonus +2x exp
    Donation Rank:
    Donator + 1.1x exp
    Premium + 1.2x exp
    Sponsor + 1.2x exp
    Supreme + 1.5x exp
    Extreme + 1.6x exp
    Legendary + 1.8x exp
    Godlike +2x exp

    Really gross thread layout. You'd think that if you were to make a comeback that you would at least put some more effort into a god damn thread...
    I mean, I really want to support you (I played the old Frantic and it was okay) and wish you luck but feels like you are just back to make money cash out of something that is already dead lol.

    Hope you can prove me wrong and make something out of this though .

    I've never seen Frantic break 100. If you really want to make progress, you should drop "rsgoldtime", that attitude is only going to hold you back in the the long run.

    Expect people to lose a lot of faith in you as well after an economy reset; players want a server that's reliable in the long-run -- this shows them otherwise.

    If money was our goal we could of mooched off our 100+ players non-stop and walked away with $10k+ a piece, we chose instead to reinvest everything into Frantic and building its brand and playerbase.

    We have taken the = of $1/hour from Frantic for Durky & myself(seriously) and that was purely to cover our actual living expenses. Durky & I are 2 of the lowest paid owners in the entire industry, I don't know why people keep implying we are after money when all our actions and investments imply otherwise.

    At the end of the day we want to put a RSPS up that can last long-term, We had Frantic v1.0 for 4 months which we learned a TON from, we want to take what we learned and build a new foundation. If we kept our current game we would never be able to do anything because of the limitations our economy & setup put on us, when Frantic was originally designed it was built to cater to a smaller base - when we started having 100+ online 24/7 and peaking 150-175 we began to realize the scope of the issue was not with what we were doing but was with the foundation of what Frantic was originally, it simply was not built with that sort of playerbase in mind.

    We are not afraid to admit when it was originally designed that drop rates, donation costs, PvP, etc was designed towards a smaller player game - our drop rates at one point were 1/140 for rares from bosses because we had top tier donors with 40% drop rate boosts which with 150 on completely destroyed our economy, Part of the blame for the above lays on me I knew we would see explosive growth but to put this in perspective within a ~20-25 day period our playerbase jumped by almost 15x what it had been when I came on and everyone was originally designing content for the long-term, we also ran into some bad bugs which Durky thankfully was able to minimize their damage but we rapidly realized the game how it had been designed was not built to handle the playerbase we desired it to - not for long periods of time. After extremely extensive discussions Durky and I finally came to the conclusion it would be best to rip everything down and start over again - A economy reset itself wouldn't of did anything because the fundamental issues still remained - Our job as owners is to recognize this and do something about it.

    With Frantic v2.0 we will of reworked the games fundamentals as a whole without truly changing how Frantic is played to help every aspect of the community and any amount of players will be able to enjoy Frantic.

    We hope everyone will at least give Frantic v2.0 a chance, we don't ask that you donate or that you even play but we would like old frantic players to at least give us a chance.

    I certainly do hope you decide to give us a go though and that u enjoy Frantic v2.0.

    Whats wrong with this thread? Once the revamp is released I'll do our next projects / goals on it...

    The highest Unique log in count(meaning no IP) we had was 143 ( visually it showed 180+ )

    A dead server vs a few mad players is the option at hand, either we left it until it died, or we try to revitalize it. The majority of our players are happy we are continuing to work on it.

    Regardless if this server takes off or not after the " revamp" i'll still be working on it, You can compare my update log to other top servers, We are always updating Every week since january (osunity times)(unless an update has to be delayed a week due to unfinished work). Our players know I am extremely dedicated to them.

    Who are the developers? You mentioned your main developer is off the team now, who've you got in place of the old developer?

    Where does it say that? so I can clarify

    I've always been the main developer, I was just busy Late October / November. So i couldn't put time in during the weekdays, but still worked pretty much every weekend.
