Decided to work on something a bit different... procedural map generation. Started with islands, which will be a key component of the bespoke Sailing skill. Features:
Still a significant amount left to do/tweak. Notably, underlays as well as overlay shapes; not sure how to go about the latter at the moment, any insight would be gratefully received!
- Map seed support
- Varying heights
- Different biomes (water, land, beach currently)
- Biome object placement (trees, shells)
- Clipping
- Minimap updating
