I think that needs to be explained better in the rules. Emulous links their website and discord yet when I tried to do the same thing on my project thread mine was instantly took down and I had mine exactly how they did theirs. I'm new to R-S so I might be missing something but it's very odd.

People with the affiliate rank (the light green color my name has) are allowed to link offsite in their posts and signatures.

Otherwise, you cannot link offsite unless it's in the advertisement section.

I love the whole sailing idea with the ships, looks amazing!
