Are you planning on making some sort of indication people are in boats via the minimap?

Unfortunately it's not quite as straightforward as that due to how the sailing system is setup, but I will look into it.
Recent updates:
- Vessel orientation updating - based on NPC position during combat
- Vessel cannon functionality - this turned out more challenging than anticipated
- Sailing combat handler work
- Added build and level requirements to all vessels and vessel parts
- Implemented owner blades snippet on 317 texture conversion
However, still having trouble with correctly applying the infernal cape texture if anyone would like to assist!
Also just purchased an IPS forum license, so will be setting that up in the near future.

To be honest, I'm a little bit disappointed because I was hoping that once you encounter events such as the STQ, you would have to either casual combat (Not cannons, but rather ranging/maging from the boat) or you'd have to climb down, grab some gun powder & cannonballs from like a crate and load the cannons, then fire them for massive damage. But from what it seems it's just going to be click and shoot as if the entire boat is your character and you are using ranged. Still glad to actually see Sailing on a private server, was just hoping it would be more in-depth than it currently is (Build a boat + cannons, and run around killing stuff)
I appreciate the feedback and will take it into consideration, thank you! I had already thought about some of those ideas but currently decided against them, so that gameplay is as smooth and as streamlined as possible (loading a cannon every attack is quite click intensive and might get repetitive for some). However, I am debating whether to add the mage/range from the boat as an option for the smaller vessels which don't have cannons on them.
Regardless, the skill is more in-depth than that. For a start, not all sailing events involve killing monsters and furthermore, the sailing event system is only one element of the skill - there is plenty more on offer.
