Any how, i've learned some mistakes I had with the source and stuff, and the server was just plain. Just zombies, thats it. But this time ill try to create something more unique, and with more content and server stability. This thread will be updated when i get some work done, so tune in later.

The server will focus around survival across the whole map. Every bit of the map will be useful. There will be PvP everywhere except for some safe zones. Few shops and alot of skilling. To make it fair, whenever having a skull on you, if you die, your account gets reset. Let the games begin

To be honest I think that you should just limit the game to a certain area. I've seen many zombie type servers and they all usually die out because you have an enourmous area with both under, over and regular ground to cover with content while you only have like 5-20 players. The only zombie surver that actually got highly popular and a lot of activity was RuneZ (You know this already) because the gameplay was limited to the F2P area. So even if they only had like 5-10 players, there was still a high chance to encounter someone on your adventure.

Best of luck, not too sure how big of a demand there is for a server like this anymore though.

You're kinda right, but we cannot see because there aint those kinds of servers out there realistically, so there's no telling of how many players i will get. But I dont care about the money or players, I will have to ability to host it 24/7 and just a project for me to help me improve at java

I might do something similar, or atleast create occasional hotspots that is limited to certain area of the game which will have better drops and / or xp
