Does anyone remembers the classy servers, that used to be fun? Servers where You could log in and spend with excitement being the only players online? When I look at today's servers I don't see that on them. They feel just so boring. They all feel complex, starting with their quest tabs, which reminds me of data center of an aircraft.
I left the rs to join rsps very long time ago, like, eight years ago. I had this satisfaction that you could do what you love on rs (pk) but it wouldn't make you waste so much time. e.g. items and stats comes easier and it's very easy to get around, where on rs you do spend hours just to walk. One of first servers I tried was frugoo, it teach me how you can make fun things in unique way. I never before thought that rsps would be as addicting as rs itself.
I have always had a dream of having a perfect server, as a pker, where people wouldn't have to spend too much time working for items or stats, BUT that these items would be valuable. Imagine pking in edgeville with whip, zerker, torso and fcape and that it wouldn't have took me too long, but like 2-3 hours work to get. If I killed dude with same armor, I do loot all his items, then sell to store for cash. That do be my perfect server. When You look at most pk servers, their items comes too easy. You don't have satisfaction of pking, you wouldn't even loot the stuff. That's not cool. The stats should come with work too. Not too hard, but should take some effort, so you feel like You have earned it.
so more about this server and its concepts.
1. so first of all server should be easy to travel. People hate to walk long distances, why would I ever want to waste my time with that on a rsps?
Here we got home area, which is Brimhaven, I first seen the idea at Galkon's servers in like 2008they would have like 16 ish portals (4x4) without names on them, so you would have to test and memorize them. It was very easy to get to bosses and any skill areas, it all started with portals room at home. At the floor You do have banks, where people would always do something. This was great because there was constantly players at home, even with low player base, You wouldn't care, the game felt active.

This also means, there's a lot of places to choose from... people when bored usually think, what or where they could go next. I like it when you have it all in front of you.
good place for banks, you do see people banking as they get back home. Keeps things simple (bank for supplies, two steps - portal to next dungeon or w/e)
here is the portal to shops that's easy to find and locate... New players would usually struggle to find where the shops or good items are.
this is where the all shops are, keeping it really simple. Majority of stuff is sold at stores for good price. You dont have to waste your time finding the trader. You start game with 200k and there are basic npcs at home - rats that drops 125k with 20% rate, guards (lvl9) drops 250k with same rate and mossies (lvl42). When You have 200k and find 100k drop, you're excited.![]()
Whips would go 10m, dmeds 20m, dsq 40m, dlegs 50m and dchain 200m. Some of the stuff is dropped by the npcs, e.g. you do kill kbd for dchain and sell it to store for 165m, or whip from abyss for 8m profit. You then have money you can buy other stuff...
when you see the dragon at store, you assume this server is shit, but when you realize its actually very hard to get, you feel motivated.
we also would have classic servers content, selling the discontinued items, which takes weeks of money grind to buy. You do see people buying one phat, collect more money, sell their current phat to buy the next color. This is also a good way to sink money off eco.
here's something custom I found at pimpscape and thought that's a cool idea. This would sink more money, also keeping players busy with new goals.
things I would have, if I was a player. I love when you get easy access to things.
kbd that would drop dchain (goes 200m at store)
these would drop 3age armor, that alches 5-10m each (price of whip)
Hence we want to allow more people pk without struggling to get items, we don't use mini-games. There are animated dudes, who would have 1k and 500 def, you have to beat. They would take least 5mins to kill each, dropping deffies at 100% rate. But at least you have people with items, ready to pk. These seems easy, but still comes with work.

The server isn't going to be pk server, it's gonna be server where it was "easier" to get items. When people have items (in bulk), they all come to pk.
here, the manta ray spots are very close to bank booths. The farest fish spots has shrimp. so you grind your way up

Here are objects you train stats on. We do have range targets for range, dummies for attack, sewers for strength and bale's for defense. I stole the idea from frugoo in a day.
So basically, it's gonna be simplicity server that was fun to process. You do never get bored. I hate when on most servers You either struggle to make your items or either they are useless (comes too easy). On this server it's all in perfect balance. There's a lot of classic server stuff and we do love to keep these values up to date
