Switching look spot on. Good work with this

As a lot of you are probably aware, there has been a rumor spreading around that OS-Scape has shut down. These accusations are not true! I agree, we did get inactive with the community, but I promise it was for good reason. We released the beta way to soon. We had more than 3 months of development on both the client, server, and on other features required to run a server worth playing for you guys. We talked it over for quite some time, and came to the conclusion that it would be best to simply dismiss beta activity for the meantime, while we really focus on getting the servers foundation settled-in.
I agree, leaving you guys in the dark wasn't the best way to go about the situation, and you have my word we won't do anything of the sort again. The next time we have to make such an impactful, important decision, we'll be sure to include you guys. I want to stress how important you guys are to the completion, and success of this project. Without your guidance, suggestions, bug/glitch finding, and motivation, we wouldn't, and couldn't have a final product we could be proud of. One of the main reasons we're creating this project is to give you guys something worth playing.
Bart has been working extremely hard to ensure he's met a certain level of quality throughout the entire development of this project. Everything he's done has been to the best of his ability, with the happiness of you guys in the back of his mind. He's even gone as far as reaching out to the Jagex development team to gain information to further benefit us. Crazy, right? That's how passionate, deeply involved, and interested he is in making something beautiful. Something worth playing.
Now here's the big question a lot of you are probably thinking: "How long until I can actually play the server, Situations?".
Well the answer to that is simple. We're going to be continuing to work extremely hard to get the server into a playable state at a reasonable time, but we're not willing to sacrifice quality. This means, if we hit a road bump we fix it. If we find a bug, a glitch, anything that would be considered unacceptable to a player, we'll be fixing it. With that being said, we're hoping to have the server in a beta-testing phase anywhere from 2-4 weeks. Please do understand, that this is a spit-balled estimate and is not to be taken as a promise. This date can be doubled if we run into enough issues. The beta will run for a couple of weeks after the release, and once we think we have a sufficient amount of content to keep you guys entertained for a long time, we'll officially open.
Before the initial beta release, the server was going to open as a PK server. This has changed, we're now looking to open an economy based server, with a focus on PVP. You might be asking yourself, "What does this mean?". Well, this means that we'll be having a lot of amazing content such as minigames, bosses, miniquests, quests, basically anything that appeals to a wide audience, but really focus on ensuring the wilderness remains active. We're currently brainstorming this, but an example would be double experience in the wilderness, wilderness bosses, etc. Things that would not only be profitable to PVMers, but also intriguing to skillers, or people simply interested in gaining experience at an increased rate.

bump.

Glad to see this project back up, hopefully experience rates aren't going to be too low. Good luck once again.
