OSRS Deadman Mode - RELEASE JULY - DeadmanScape [474]
DeadmanScape, a 474 RSPS based off of the OSRS Version of DeadmanMode whereby everywhere is PvP and survival is key. You will have to kill to survive in which killing someone will grant you access to the victim’s bank for a small period of time.
Trading is permitted but is not recommended as you never know when somebody will turn on you and kill you. Upon death your stats will be reset by a certain amount but not so much that it will devastate your hard work. You will respawn in a random location within a city where you will be surrounded by incredibly powerful guards that will team up and kill using powers such as ice barrage to freeze any player with a skull. For a PKer, cities are your worst enemy.
However, from being a PKer, there are many rewards. Not only do you have access to your victims bank, but you are also rewarded with an antique lamp which can increase your skill of choice by a level.
Deadman Mechanics Explained
We've made quite a bit of progress with arguably one of the biggest portions of Deadman Mode: the ability to raid your victim's bank. With that said, I'll go into how bank raiding will work along with some other mechanics in the game.*
Bank Raiding-(98% complete)
Bank Raiding plays a significant part in progressing throughout your life as a Deadman. In order to raid someone's bank, you must first obtain a bank key. These can be obtained by killing a player in the world. Once you have obtained their bank key, the item itself has an option to raid their bank.

Upon clicking the option, you are prompted to open their bank. The name of the last killed user will display as: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]]
If you are quite the hunter and obtain multiple kills, this is entirely fine as you are able to raid banks of up to 4 of your latest victims. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
Bank Raiding - Taking Items
Once their bank is opened, you will be notified how many items you are able to take. The current limit is 50 stackable items (arrows, runes, etc) and 10 non-stackable items. Every time you retrieve an item, this limit updates for your convenience.

Once you have reached your limit for both - or there is nothing left to take, the interface exits. Notably, if a player logs out after you kill them, you will still be able to view and raid their bank.

Hello everyone!
This is one exciting post covering upcoming content and additions as well as... Alpha Launch!
Alpha
There's been quite a bit of work put into the server the past few weeks and we think it's stable enough to allow a public testing phase. Bear in mind, this is a very early revision of the game. What is in Alpha now may not be in later revisions, and of course, there will be plenty of tweaking during this phase. We do know some things will be missing or incomplete, please be sure to expect that. You'll be able to post bug reports shortly after release via the forum - these are paramount to enhancing the game, so please do not leave any stone unturned. Alpha accounts will be reset. We're hoping for a few solid days for public testing and in that time we'll be squashing bugs and taking into consideration your feedback and suggestions. Finally, the Alpha testing phase will be open to all starting the afternoon of Thursday, July 8th. We're not expecting to have Alpha open for too long providing there aren't many troublesome or significant bugs. Basher, Brownie and myself will all be playing on P-mod accounts whilst testing so you can easily ask for help if need be. I hope you all do your best to spread the word about public testing and to get the very first feel of Deadman Mode - the game is exponentially more fun with more players!

What to expect:
Upon first login, you will be spawned at the safe island of Bob. You will be prompted to choose a starter kit: Melee, Mage, or Range. You then may exit through the nearby portal to be teleported to a random city. You then begin your journey as a Dead man. If you die, you will lose 7 levels of a random combat skill and 9 levels of two random non-combat skills. These punishments are increased if you die whilst skulled. You can choose to immediately assert your dominance over other players, or take the diplomatic route and form alliances.
