Outline
This is going to be a very long-term project and this thread will be updated as we progress. We intend to create several custom animations, projectiles, models, as well as completely rewriting combat. We will be overhauling most of the server content to make way for our own system - an enhanced pet system - to accommodate capturing Pokémon, fighting them against others and creating a fun server for everyone. Before beta release we intend to create around 20 fully animated pokemon available to capture, train and evolve.

Plans
- Much like Summoning, one Pokémon at a time will be able to walk behind their trainer.
- After much discussion we have established what we will do with legendary pokemon. We will spawn them for a certain time period depending on how many players are on, and on random coordinates. This way we preserve the rarity of the Pokémon.
- We shall be encouraging competition by giving the title of Champion to the person that defeats the elite four. Whoever then defeats the elite four and the Champion will take this rank.
- Pokémon will be spawned in different regions depending on their type, for example you may find a Magmar in Karamja volcano or a Poliwag in Port Sarim.
- To create a fair Pokémon economy, we will be following the Pokémon yellow storyline whereby you can collect all 3 starter Pokémon throughout the game, but everyone will start with Pikachu.
- In the future we may implement the possibility of shiny Pokémon. In the wild they will look the same as normal Pokémon, but there will be a small chance of receiving a shiny once captured.
- As for introducing Pokémon from later than Gen I, this is also in our plans but not for the near future. One possibility is to slowly filter them into donator areas until there are around 50 of them before releasing them to everyone. If this project receives enough backing and funding, it is possible that we implement pokemon all the way to Gen VI (around 720 Pokémon total).
