Hey guys, Eldren here.
Here recently (well over the last two months) I have been working on a project. It's the only project that I've actually stuck with and keep making edits on and I believe that it's mainly because of my little brother wanting me to finish my own server again, since it's been almost 6 years since the last one that I've owned. The base for the server is 'Project Insanity' which is now using Netty. Yes, I admitted it, bring on the flame. I have been working on redoing many of the systems and getting things to pair up with each-other and work properly, however there's no reason to give you all of the information in one paragraph, so I'm going to use my horrible thread management skills to defeat your eyes while you attempt to read the horrible layout of this post.
What is my over-all goal with Eldrith Online?
Honestly, my goal is to have a community driven emulation, most private servers aren't here because the owners can't afford to play the official game, in-fact, most of them have the money to provide for a host to host the server, however the players are another story. The private server community has a mix of what I believe is three different types of users. The ones that miss the game the way it was before, the ones that want to see peoples own unique twists on the game, and the ones that just simply can't afford to play the game.
With this being said, I want to make this server community driven, most servers fail before they even get started, because of the inability to retain players, due to feeling alone. My plans for this server are to allow the community to all be together, at almost all times. I mean, you can't have everything at the home location, but you can keep a nice part of the server there for everyone to just communicate / go on with their business.
We want our players to have a say-so in what happens, what updates, what they think would be cool. This is how we are going to run, by listening to our players.
Minigames:
Eldrith online is going to have minigames, I mean, what's the point of a server without them? These are some of the things that people enjoy to do and will definitely be worked on. Current status of Minigames are as follows;
- Dueling Arena (Priority) ~ 0%
- Pest Controll ~ 0%
- Custom Arena Minigame ~ 0%
Combat:
Unlike many servers, we're not going to go around advertising that we have flawless combat, in-fact it's not all that great, but it's constantly being worked on. The percentage indicator below is not to show you how close we are to the "Perfect Combat" mark, but to show you how close we are to where it feels nice and balanced.
- Melee: 70%
- Ranged: 60%
- Magic:65%
Skilling:
Here at Eldrith we don't want to have Skilling be 100% like runescape, we want our own twist. We want it to be easier, but at the same time just as interactive. The percentage values that are being displayed are not symbolizing how close the skill is to being just like it was in Runescape, instead it's how close it is to how we want it.
- Agility: 50%
- Mining: 70%
- Smithing: 80%
- Fishing: 65%
- Cooking: 70%
- Herblore: 80%
- Thieving: 100%
- Crafting: 95%
- Fletching: 80%
- Woodcutting: 100%
- Runecrafting: 100%
- Slayer: 0%
- Farming: (N/A)
Misc Features:
- Item Trading: 70%
- NPC Drop System: 100% (Completely Percentage Based, with single drops just like RS, stacked drops possible depending on drop configurations)
- Gambling System: 90% (Flower Game / Dicing, player hosted)
(Being asked to do captchas for the site every 3 seconds, will add media when this calms down)

Eldrin or Eldren? Lol, goodluck.
Lmao, he spelled his own username wrong.
