Intro


- Pandorum is based off of the Hyperion base, specifically, 474 Revision.

Goals and Ideas

Founded by 4 friends; our goal is to provide a stable and highly enjoyable server that provides many alternatives to just the basic 'Kill 'n' Skill' norms that so many other servers provide. We aim to engender an environment where there's always something else to do; a game where "replay value" and community satisfaction is our priority. With an abundance of content, ample amount of places to visit, monsters to kill, minigames to play, custom daily activities, skills to train in your own way, all the while promoting an active and supportive community of members Pandorum aims to be your long-term Private Server to always play.

General Content

• Custom 'Kingdom of Miscellania' daily event - daily collection of various resources that your kingdom has collected (also includes tasks).

• Fully working Clan Chat system (smiley when added, can promote to all available ranks, can set who kicks, clan name, who can join, who can talk).

Updating and Login Protocols
- Server files saved through mySQL
- Must be registered on forums to log into the game server.
- Passwords can contain capital letters and special characters ([email protected]#$%^&*) for added security - usernames cannot.
- Separate 'test' server for Staff testing before pushing to the Live server.


Miscellaneous
- Birds Nest Dropping
- Random Gems from Mining (Chance of more gems when higher mining level and mining high level rocks increases)
- Anti-bot/macro verification at random
- Fully working cannon (does not work in Wilderness against players, attacks multiple enemies, loading, setting up, other players cannot take, degrading).


Further Information

Minigames will offer rewards they normally do, as well as offering an added bonus of Pandorum Coins. Pandorum Coins are a feature that can be used for various purposes throughout Pandorum, and will be explained in further depth in another section.

Pest Control

Pest Control will offer the ability, through Pest Control Zeal, to obtain the Void set as well as various resource packages to assist in skilling endeavors.

Warriors Guild

At the Warriors Guild players will need to first collect tokens by using a set of armor (tier of armor depends on level of spawned Armor Monster and how many tokens you receive). Players will then head upstairs to fight cyclops' for various tiers of Defenders! Tokens will deplete from inventory every few minutes.

Fight Caves & Pits

Fully functional Fight Caves minigame where players must fight to survive through 32 waves of Tzhaar torture to earn the infamous Fire Cape. 32 Waves is not yet confirmed. Fight Pits include a fully functional waiting area (the see-through ball will be added) and a fully functional fighting-area where attendees fight in a free-for-all death match. The winner will be rewarded with Pandorum Coins and another item yet to be decided. The game will not start if there are less than 4 players.

Duel Arena
Fully functional duel arena where players may stake their wealth or duke it out for the fun of it, or maybe for some bragging rights. The Duel Arena Scoreboard will be converted to a 'Top Stakers' and 'Most Wins' Scoreboard where the most wealth won will be recorded as well as player with most kills.

Barrows
Fully functional Barrows minigame which allows players a chance to obtain a Barrows item from the twisted and demented brothers. The minigame functions as normal.

Pandorum Activities
What are Pandorum Activities? These are Activities that don't necessarily fall under the Mini-game category and don't necessarily require any certain stats like mini-quests might. Our very first Pandorum Activity is the Kingdom of Miscellania: Players will have the option to allocate certain 'workers' to a specific resource area, which in turn will reward you with those specific resources (Ores if Mining is allocated, Fish if Fishing is allocated, etc). Players also have the ability to invest back into their Kingdom with Pandorum Coins which will yield higher value rewards.


Mini-quests

We'd rather not bore you with extensive and drawn-out dialogues and tasks that come with many of the Quests used to unlock various items, which is why we have implemented Mini-quests. Simple, efficient and entertaining mini-quests used to unlock various items such as (but not limited to) the Ava's Accumulator, Fighter Torso, and Helm of Neitiznot, and the 'Metal/Barrows' Gloves.



Member World
A Member world will eventually be implemented. This will only be a taste of what features will be available to members; the world will include a slightly higher exp rate for combat skills and possibly a slightly higher drop rate for certain monsters. Members will be able to have access to exclusive slayer dungeons, items, and equipment.

Pandorum Coins
What are Pandorum Coins?! These are our Virtual Currency used for various reasons. Pandorum Coins can be used to speed up your Kingdom's daily gathering & Yield, the purchase of certain items/resources, purchasing Membership, changing Slayer Tasks, ability to skip a mini-quest, and many, many more uses will be implemented throughout development.
