Introduction:
Regium is a brand new server currently under development to help revolutionize 317 servers while bringing back an old school feel, along with amazing features and content such as perfect combat; both PvM and PvP, working skills, lots of custom features and exciting minigames like our flagship minigame "Zombies". Regium, meaning "Royalty and greatness" in Latin is the best way to describe the upcoming server. On top of content, our team also strives for player satisfaction.
The Team:
The Regium staff team will work endlessly to ensure all players are satisfied with the content in-game and forums. The whole staff team has experience with both developing projects and hosting servers, so together as a team we hope to make Regium successful. We have also collaborated in the past, and have immediate communication with one another, so if there was ever a problem, it would be fixed much quicker. Features
Regium is a unique server that consists of many different features for every player's unique preferences. We are constantly updating both the server and forums to make it more convenient for the community. We have added lots of custom features in-game, however one of the most exciting features we implemented is our "Zombies" minigame. I know there are a few servers who have a "Zombie" mini-game, however we took it to the next level by adding purchasable doors, random mystery box, zombie points, zombie interface, shop, working waves, king zombie etc. We also have worked really hard on other features to enhance gameplay, challanges and lots of fun to the server. Zombie Minigame
Although Regium has lots of features and fun gameplay, Zombies is something we are very excited about. It is a remake of the popular game, "Nazi Zombies" however also has custom/unique features like survival techniques, puzzles etc. that help make it a lot more fun and challenging. This minigame consists of the following features so far, and will continually to be updated; purchasable doors, random mystery box, zombie points, zombie interface, shop, working waves, king zombie, survival techniques, rewards, single player and multiplayer modes. We are also working on certain addons and features, like highscores, and different locations/maps.
Economic And PvP Structure
We have found that lots of servers have poor economic structures that lead to boredom due to the fact everyone has loads of items and cash, and the feeling of reward and accomplishment is lost. Another issue we found is that some servers have PvP structures that lead to overpowered weapons in the shops, making people who don't PvP at a loss. They also have unbalanced PK points and features that lead to camping or cheating in order to acquire PK points. Regium is working on creating a plan in order to create a strong economy, making it hard to acquire the strongest/rarest items in-game and take time to gain lots of money. We also have worked on our PvP system for a long time to ensure that it is as balanced as could be while still being rewarding and fun. We have updated hit times, calculations, max hits, special attacks, switching etc. We will continue to work on ways to balance both of these systems.
