Thread: Project Defiancy 317

Hey, I'm 1337 Pow3r on other forums and Ho h0 ho on here, and I will be working on a server which I've decided to name Project Defiancy V1.0.

I have just started working on this project today, July 19 2010 about 10 minutes ago.

What has been done so far:

• Pk Portal teleport added.

• Skilling Teleport added

• Deleted all NPC drop's except for Men. (Their gonna all be remade.)

What will be done soon:

• The Home will be changed to Varrock.

• I will finish adding the teleports to the Skilling Portal

• I will add thieving stalls to the Skilling Area.

• Alot more will be done.. I will add more later

You are probably wondering why I have a skilling area when I have separate skill teleports, Well the reason is that the skilling area is gonna consist of Thieving and Crafting. Instead of 3 stalls to thieve like other servers this server will have at least 13 Active stalls to steal from. The RuneCrafting NPC will also be here so players that are Level 3 wouldn't have to bother being attacked by the Skeletons in Edge Wilderness. Another Skill that will be added here is Agility, An NPC will teleport you there, I am planning on making at least 3 Agility areas work with different level requirements so players will not get bored at 1.

I will be working on Level Requirements for items, since that seems to be a Major problem on a Delta server.

• You Now need a Level of 41 Mining to Use a Rune Pick-axe.

• You Now need a Level of 41 Woodcutting to Use a Rune Axe.

• You Now need a Level of 61 Woodcutting to Use a Dragon Axe.

• Working on Interfaces, They were already added Clientsided, I just coded them in Server side.

• Emote tab Action buttons are now 100% working. 4 Emotes are glitched and I can't find the emote for 1.

• I will begin working on the Settings interface, sooner or later. Lol

• Npc drops have been rewritten, All slayer monsters have their slayer drops. More soon.

• Working on a new Rank called Defiance.

The Defiance rank will be similar to Donators, but will be cheaper.

Defiance Commands

• Yell Command

• Food Command

• Darea Command.

• Their will be more soon.

Explainning the Commands..

• The Yell command will Include a Title such as, [Defiance] "+playerName+".

• The Food command will give 40 Sharks.

• The Darea command will teleport the player to an Area with different monsters to train on, and a Defiance shop.

Defiance Freedom

Defiance will be given Godsword rights depending on the price they pay. The Defiance Rank will cost $3 by it's self but getting Godsword rights + Rank will equal up to $5. This way I can get enough cash to afford a Dedi and more. I have also added a Custom :efiy PLAYERNAME so, I can give the Player the rank without using the Character files. The Rank will automatically save using the Character logs so when you logout and In the rank will still be their. Defiance Players will also be given the Latest updates, and more behind the scene things. They will also be given a new command weekly, which will be deleted after that week. The commands will be simple like :ots which will obviously give a super set. I will give more Information about the Defiance rank later.

Simple Updates

• Simple Bug Fixed - Dragon Claws changed from 60 Defence to 60 Attack

• Update: Crystal key + Crystal chest = RandomReward();

• Update: 100% Working TeleOther

• I've added a Code to stop all other Clients from working except for mine.

• Xlog Problem fixed.

• House Option on the settings tab now teleports Defiance members to their Area.

Mage of Zamorak - Runecrafting

- The Mage of Zamorak now has 3 options instead of 1. These 3 Options consist of Talk,trade and teleport. These 3 Options work 100%

Talk - *Dialogue* Player: "Who are you"," Nevermind" < If who are you is pressed
*Dialogue* Npc: "I'm the Mage of Zamorak. I will teleport you Runecrafting."
*Second NPC dialogue* NPC: "Right Click and teleport! Don't have a holy book wielded!"


Yes, your probabaly thinking what he means by "Don't have a holy book wielded"

Well as you see on runescape, if you have a Holy book wielded he will tell you to take it off because its Saradomin and not Zamorak.

If you try talking to the Mage of Zamorak while wearing a Holy book you will get a Message "You can not talk to the Mage of zamorak while wielding a Holy book", That means you must take it off to teleport (If it's in your Inventory you can teleport with it.)


I have also created a runes shop for the Mage of zamorak - 100% like Runescape's.

This person gives you access to the Abyss. The Mage of Zamorak sells the following: Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Blood, and Mind runes (Max stock of 1000.) Chaos and Death runes have a max stock of 500.
You are unable to speak to this person if you are wielding a Holy book.

Working on Herblore/Farming Skill (Being rewrote)

Woodcutting: - 100%
- Bug fixed(You couldn't cut Oak logs)

Fletching: - 100%
- Fletching was already added but their was a bug fixed.

This bug was: When you would try to fletch a log and didn't have the level required it would still work.

Problem Solved

Crafting - 100%
- Woah Crafting was a bitch to rewrite, but it's 100% Perfect

NO GLITCHES FOUND.

Farming/Herblore - 20% TOTAL
- Identify Herbs added

My Plan for Farming/Herblore:
I'm hoping to get these skills close-a-like Runescape.

1) Kill NPC's for Seeds, buy seeds,etc. (More then 1 Npc will drop certain seeds)
2) Use the Seeds on the Patch and receive Herbs
3) Identify the herbs, get experience for Identifying
4) Get the items needed to make the potion (EX: Super strength - Ranarr & Limpwurt root + Vial of water)
if playerhasitem = Limp root && itemused = Ranarr Usedon == Vial of water= Superstrength Potion
5) Your done.

It sounds simple, but getting the seeds wont be easy making the economy better. Seeds will be sold by people, because skillers will be in need of them.

Then, you will have to get Limp roots which will be dropped by NPCS also bettering the economy.
