This is not a project thread, its a discussion thread on what I should add, etc.

    What is Impervious?

    - Impervious is a RuneScape Private Server framework I'm currently working on. Its based on the Netty Networking API (*Did I say that right?), & Includes many other things than the usual private server.

I'm currently developing this by myself, (and still needs a lot of work), but basically the point of this thread is for what you would like to see. I'm developing this for the benefit of the community, and plan to hopefully release a stable, and easy to use base.

So tell me Rune-Server, what would you like to see?
Please leave a comment below. Also remember that it doesn't have to be content-wise, it can be something else (E.g - Web-server, File-server, etc)

    • Login Server
      • Account loading & Saving
      • Cross-world actions.

    • Web server
      • Loading all files & using directories
      • Loading all of the code from files
      • Integrated with the server.
        • What I mean by this, is that you can use Php codes to load some info sent by the server, such as players online, uptime, etc.

    • Mysql
      • Connecting to the database, grabbing info, etc.

    • World Server
      • Logging in

      • Player rendering
      • Graphic & Emote update masks
      • NPCs Loading

    Support
It would be great to have some supporters, for extra motivation and such. Here is a little signature I came up with really quick:

    Code:
    [URL="http://www.rune-server.org/showthread.php?t=219825"][img]http://i43.tinypic.com/6hhv89.png[/img][/URL]
    Code:
    [img]http://i43.tinypic.com/6hhv89.png[/img]
    Put that in your signature.

Makes stuff easier to find, don't have to jam everything into the Client class. More organized overall.
