C# Open Source Revolution
Information:
This server is based off of Microsoft's C#(C Sharp) Programming Language. This will be a 317 server. This server will be released open source so you can get the idea of what C# code looks like and how similar it is to java. It will have a main feature: text file or mysql mode. Ill make most things editable from outside of server core.
Features/Planned Features:
- Easy accessibility
- All most no lag
- Easy deployment(Uses net framework 3.5)
- A reasonable amount of packets
- And more...

This will be nice when you're done, I will definitely look at this when complete.
Also, I just have one question. Will you be using Microsoft Visual Basic to program this?

Maybe you should search for a better networking api like java - new i/o
lol i worked with java this is more learning experience then a "lets do better then other java servers"
