Server Aims

In this server we aim to acheive the status of the best server around. It isn't going to be any ordinary project thread, one which dies and is buried in the first week. It is a server which should be like no other. This is mainly because we have funding to hire the best coders around.

We hope to achieve the best combat around, as close to Rs as possible. The wilderness will be a big aim in the server as it is the most missed aspect of Runescape. We hope for the PvP to be perfect and enjoyable.

How will we achieve the status of "Best RSPS"?

We will achieve this status by hiring the best coders around the Rune-server community with cash. The funding we have is around $500/£340, this will be used for the following:

- Pay coders to code the client and server
- Pay for the website and forums
- Pay for a dedicated server
- To pay the Moderators of Rune-Ultimatum [Maybe]

The server

The future players of Rune-Ultimatum will have the main in-put to the server and also the out come. We don't know what you want and can't read your mind so we need you to let us know what is wanted of the server.

The EXP rate will be challenging but not as slow as real runescape. We don't want a server that is big but is 1 click = 99 stat. The economy will be very tough, not like BSI. More like Runescape, making the joy of having the rarer items more and making them more of a 'Prized possesion".

How will we select our coders?

We all know which coders are 'The Best'. We will choose the creme of the crop and whoever will be commited to the project. Me and Allen will select our coders very carfeully, we want people who can create the best server and client around which will have ultimate stability. We are offering $50 to each coder, but we can stretch that.

Yes the main reason we are hiring coders is because we aren't capable of coding the server of which we and the RSPS community want. Feel free to Hate and flame all you want, it doesnt bother us.
