    Hello everyone,

I am new to rsps development and I am looking for some guidance on which client and server to use as a base for my project. My main goal is to learn how everything works from scratch, so it is really important for this base to have good code quality. I am open to any revision or technology, so I would really appreciate any recommendations you might have.

Thank you in advance for your help!
    Happy Xmas

Most of the rs2 section isn't good codebase tbh minus frameworks like rsmod, such, depends what revision you also want as well so be more specific on revision, etc..

Hey Matt, well here's our open source version of Elvarg:
    GitHub - RSPSApp/elvarg-rsps

We've been continually improving its stability for over a year now, check out the closed pull requests to see the length and depth of fixes we've done. I'll post a thread in downloads when i'm happier with it but we've got all crashes/networking issues fixed, we've got fully rewritten server sided pathing, intelligent player bots that can go to the duel arena, (almost) play castlewars, and are extremely difficult to defeat in PvP. We also have an awesome quest system, NPC interaction system, all sorts of cool things whilst still being vanilla as possible. We also have a strict review process so all the code committed is relatively clean and well documented.

The idea is you fork this to your github account then make any changes you like. We keep the core repo as vanilla and as stable as possible, so you can pull stability fixes and core improvements through time without overwriting any of your content. We have a bespoke RSPSi plugin (for map editing) and we can fix any core bugs that you may find while developing.

We also are offering a free webclient to anyone who forks and uses this as their server base (Which will give you a massive advantage over other servers)

Hit me up on discord if you need any help, we currently have 2 server owners actively using us and 4 core team members contributing to the server core.
