Best OSRS Source for ZulRah and other bosses

Good evening,

I'm looking for a good source which is up to date with the bosses rotations, at this moment in time ZulRah!

Currently I have setup a project that is based on ASCEND and tailored everything from deaths(keeps equipment and inventory on death and not stored at the by the priestess... As this slows down progress), teleports, items, banking, chat logs and object placements right next to the ZulRah boat. Took me about 2 hours to setup, which was great! Never done Java before, but its very similar to languages in Web Development, so piece of piss!

But I then realised that the rotation for ZulRah was dated and the boss followed the same rotation every time. Never done ZulRah or bosses before, so I didn't know the difference until trying the retail version of the game, as I had mastered my server.

So I have come here asking, which of these sources that are available would be best for my goal. I need something which is near perfect to the retail game.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

None.. You've been attempting to use 317s not osrs bases btw. Maybe you should master the retail game's mechanics and then attempt to do it yourself.

That's good to know. Yes in an ideal world it would be great to just master the retail game, but I am running an iron man and the costs are quite high.

My intention with this project is to make it as simple as possible to be setup for continuous runs without down time.
So people can learn tactics without actually losing anything in the main game. For example, a JAD Server which minimises down time to just learn one thing in particular is a great tool But this has been done and is on YouTube.

I want to do this for all the bosses, but I need server and client which is as close to retail as possible for the correct rotations. Which I will then release to everyone with a one click setup and away they go, they can practice over and over.

I'm not asking for anyone to do anything other than suggest a good source for what I am asking for. I have used ASCEND and changed a fair amount to do the job, but then soon found out the rotations were off.

If you wish to run a server with any "perfected" boss that matches OSRS mechanics for you or anyone else you'll have to really dig into developing the boss scripts or shelling out cash for "perfected zulrah" etc.

On top of the boss mechanics Ascend or anything using a similar base does not have pathing & clipping that would match OSRS' nor do I believe the combat formulas are correct. Haven't looked at them in ages tho tbh. If you're actually serious about this check out rsmod and build/buy the bosses you wish to test as you go.

Though this may seem like an emulation, I do see the differences in your mindset with your example. I sorta support this project type. Personally, I try to type all of my servers as an emulation. If server developers try their best to replicate actual game mechanics, less bugs will happen. (Obviously doesn't mean badly written code thats intended to work as it should, would work.) I got into RSPS because I was never able to get a membership so I decided to make my own and have whatever I like. A practice server for PVM is a solid idea.

I dont know of any bases that would suit your needs, someone will chime in, but if you're looking for replica like mechanics; chances are you aren't going to find a 317 that fits your needs.

Thank you for your input, you have pretty much hit the nail on the head.

My drive is to perfect the killing of the bosses, whilst providing very quick setup times. As i have already done so with my Ascend setup.
Once I have completed one boss, I will then do the next and so fourth, which will then be released on several platforms so people can find the resource and learn efficiently in a safe environment.

I don't intend to off load this work to anyone else, it's a personal project of mine.

I initially started with Ascend because that's the first one I came across and has a fair amount of support. If I am being honest, I don't really know what the base versions mean. Such as 317 and so fourth. I pretty checked if it had bosses and then started on my goal, which was naive to think it had the correct rotations.

If anyone can point me in the right direction for good sources to near perfect rotations for ZulRah(my main focus at the moment) or any other bosses, I would greatly appreciate it.
