Hey I recently set up a Project Insanity server. Whenever I send my friends the runnable jar file they the following error message: "requesting title screen".
- I set up a auto cache downloader for my server. Which is working whenever I connect to the server.
- I port forwarded my router to 43594. I double checked that the port was open by the site: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
- Server listening on port 0.0.0.0:43594
- I changed the IPV4 settings on my ethernet so that I would keep a static IP adress.
- I changed the client.java file public static string server = my public ip adress and also the server = my public ip adress
I can't seem to find if I missed anything? Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Have you even tried to login yet?
Cause that is a step you seemed to have been missing in order to find out if everything works.

Yeah I tried that too:
Success: I can see your service on ********* on port (43594)
Your ISP is not blocking port 43594
Bit odd then! Have u replaced the IP with ur public one in the client?
yeah I did that too
thx for the suggestion but I'm just doing this for fun + learning experience. Having it as a side project to learn some java as a newbie. If I want to get serious about hosting a server I would definitely consider a vps though.
any idea what might be causing my issue though?
Check the settings in your router maybe? It might be 192.168.0.1
He stated that canyouseeme reports that it's accessible. It will only report back successful if the port is open AND there is a service running last I used that tool.
With that being said, the only thing it can possibly be is that your client is not configured correctly.
