Combat fix?

Not sure if anyone has ever found a fix for this yet, but i need a fix for DDS to DH. basically you switch from dds then quickly to the axe in full DH and you hit insanely high. I'm using [PI] I know it's not recommended and all the other things people say about rewriting combat system ect.. but I'm not wanting to switch off of PI, so if someone could fix for me or guide me in right direction, ill pay for service.

This is a result of damage being calculated on hit rather than at the start of the animation.
Because of this, you can switch to a dharok axe before the damage is calculated giving you a double hit with the axe's bonus.

PI's released more recently have fixed this as far as i know.
If you don't wish to rewrite the combat system, look at how they tackled the issue and improve upon it.

edit: And for some reason this only happens with NPC's not PVP

Most recently released PI's should have this fixed. Meaning you can find & rip the fix by downloading and searching through the base or if you so desire; Abandon your project and start over on a more developed base.

Edit: Also PVM & PVP attacking methods should be seperate in your PI, you could compare your attackPlayer class/method to your AttackNPC & maybe fix it that way.
