Hey guys, I've been googling and searching for hours.. Either I don't know how to google, or I don't know what to look for..

I haven't messed with RSPS's since bat files and notepad++.

Someone told me that you have to use Eclipse now. So I followed a guide on youtube and on the forums here on how to set it up, I still get errors. I have been wanting to run a local server with gwd and and bosses available, so I can just play local with god mode for fun. Every time I add a source to Eclipse, I immediately multiple errors,

Make sure localhost ip is set 127.0.0.1 and make sure cache is in C drive. Some cases, turn off hiscores database might be messing up the server since you probably dont have a webhost. Post your error here.

I think that I need to re-do where the cache is looked for.

    Project 'Celestial-Server' is missing required library: 'C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\Celestial\Celestia l Server\deps\apache-commons-lang.jar' Celestial-Server

I have 27 errors regarding this, but with a different destination on each.

The project cannot be built until build path errors are resolved

    This is the final error.

Someone was half right, but still very wrong. You can still use Notepad++, but if you're reasonable you obviously don't do that.

Eclipse is a viable option. However, I would personally recommend IntelliJ over Eclipse any day, so will most other serious devs these days. (get IntelliJ Community Edition, unless you wish to pay).

Now when it comes to the errors, that's probably because you have dependencies you didn't add to the build path. Just look up how to add external jar dependencies.

You're lucky you even used Notepad++, back in the .bat days, I used vanilla notepad...

On a serious note. Right click on the project with problems in eclipse > Build Path > Configure Build Path > Libraries tab > Remove all the ones that are red > Add external jars > Navigate to your source folder > Go to where the libraries are > Highlight all of them and add them.

This is the right answer for anyone looking for this.

Build path errors means the dependencies are not added to your project, because they are coming from another system.

BUT you can ofcourse still use notepad/bat's if you are not going to code but just play. You'll just have to make a compiler, compile it and use a run.bat from another source (or simply make one).
