Hey everyone, to get this out of the way, im not an experienced Java programmer, my background is in c#, and even then i'm an amateur at best. But my friends and my self were talking and decided we wanted to have our own RSPS, and we thought we were fully aware of what we were getting into. We were wrong obviously. After getting a client and source that we like, (media provided) we started getting to work on changing it to our liking. We are also using this as a catalyst to build our skills in Java, because as we're actually interested in this, were far more likely to put some real hours into it.
But neither of us have any idea when it comes to drawing sprites and changing user interfaces. so here's the basic run down.

Source is MistPs, a spawn server that replaces the Skills tab with this.

and the quest tab is replaced with this.

Not to mention we also have no idea how to unpack the caches .IDX files or .dat files, (we have tried RSMV, Toms Suite, Lin's Cache Suite, and a handful of others, but we really don't know how to move forward.

The goal of this post is to get some help getting rid of the Tabs in the images and replacing them with the vanilla skills and quest tabs, as we are trying to get rid of the Spawn elements and make it a more traditional server.

As were waiting for help from this community we are also scanning through other clients to see if theres any information we can glean from them about this process, so the situation could change.

If you are able to offer any assistance please add my discord: zammystuff#1414 and identify who you are.

    Cheers boys.

Easy, void out the tab.. use // before each line of code that involves the tab (incase you want it back later or get an error I wouldn't completely delete it, just void it out)

And then using the same interface measurements add whatever you want there, if you want the images snipe them somewhere and drop them in your sprites folder, and connect those sprites instead of the other ones. Easy. Not really programming, just editing for the most part.

Edit. I didn't know this was a old Post, just realised. Didn't mean to gravedig.
