Somewhat of a noob post, but i’ve always used Eclipse and I’d like to give intelliJ a shot but I really just can’t seem to figure out how to get my server and client into intelliJ and be able to run them/edit them like I do in Eclipse. If someone could lend me a hand that’d be awesome. Thanks.

I'd recommend googling something like "import eclipse project into intellij".
Here's the first thing that popped up for me:

Java = Still java, no matter the IDE.
IntelliJ gives u better suggestions regards your code, has various great integrations such as Maven and Kotlin which usually dont work that well on Gradle (Kotlin at least, maven works fine).

Aside from that its supported by JetBrains... which is a strong company that improces the product constantly.
