Hey guys, was just wondering how I would load a specific region, without actually being in that region.

I'm moving the camera around for a cutscene and the player is outside of a specific region, so when the camera is in that region nothing is actually loading unless I move the player inside that region.

    For example:

Player is standing in region 11317, camera is moving to region 11318, NPCs spawn inside region 11318 but those NPCs do not show up unless player moves inside region 11318.

I'm using this as a reference for region numbers

EDIT: I was able to load the region, but now the camera resets to the position of the player whenever the region is loaded. Is anyone able to tell me where in the client this is located? Elvarg base.

EDIT2: Got it all figured out, thanks for the help!

Call the region load method for that region id.

I got that far but when calling the region load method it resets the camera back to the player so now I'm trying to figure out where that is being handled.

Thank you for your response though!

You need to use the camera packets aswell.

Sorry I should have been more clear. In the middle of the camera movement, when loading a region, the camera resets back to player which ultimately ruins the cutscene.

    For example:

As the camera is moving, the region is loading and then the camera snaps back and stops all movement.

I guess just disable the region loading client-sided when in a cutscene?

Yeah I was just trying to figure out where in the client the regionloading was being called. I got it all figured out, thanks for the input though!
