Hi, I am playing around with Ascend and currently am trying to add some of the latest osrs bosses using [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

and when it comes to animations this is my first attempt and I am having a trouble finding the correct file containing the animation that I want e.g in the npc def it says Xarpus walk animation is 8060 while there are data in index2 up to 2310, how do I find the file containing the animation I need

    Thanks in advance

The animation ids are not the same as animation file numbers. If you pack all the animation files and animation sequence data (seq.dat), you (should) be able to do animation 8060.
Because the seq.dat points that ID to the set of frames, which then points the the files the frames are in.

Long story short: Pack animation files to cache and seq.dat

What I think Dust means is you need to dump the animations from lets say the 179 cache. You can use RSDATASUITE to do this, after dumping them find out if you need to repack them as .gzs or as .dats and then uncomment out the index2 (i think this is animations index for PI, but not 100%) part of your client, and then create an index2 folder in your cache, and then restart the client to pack them. There are several packing methods and the method I suggested is for Galkons Repacker. Besides editing the config archive in your cache and packing the seq.dat you may need to edit some readvalues in your sequence class client sided.

Im "Checkmeowt" on discord holla if you need friend.

Again not 100% but pretty sure 177-179 will require readvalue changes
