The guides aren't "outdated", thats how it's been done for years. If it isn't working for you then you're most likely doing something wrong. Make sure the port you are using to portforward is open.

I apologise if this is wrong section, didn't really know where to post.
I know this is newby question, but I need help putting my server online. Right now I want to host my server on my own computer and later upgrade to vps.
So, please can anybody help me through teamviewer?
I watched/read several guides but they're outdated (like no-ip website is updated, router panel is diff etc etc) so they didn't work for me. Don't comment guides here unless they're not outdated.
I'd really wish to host my own server, so please help a newby out here

There are typically two layers to traffic routing, your network firewall and your OS firewall.
If you've already attempted to open the port on your switch / router then try add an inbound policy into your OS firewall.
Once you've opened both, then run the server and use a tool like Open Port Check Tool to validate that your application can be seen externally.
I could use some help on the subject too. Portforwarding is out of the question as I'm taking care of my grandma for a few weeks (I don't know her internet information - neither does she..) so I was hoping I could turn to Hamachi to put the server online.
If someone could help me set up my server via Hamachi that would be amazing. Upgrading to a VPS soon, but looking to use a free alternative until the server is complete.
I created an inbound rule; Port 43954... How can I double check that the port I created is the port used on my server? Typically it's safe to assume it's using 43954 (right?) because it's the most commonly used port for an rsps.. But I want to learn the "why"s to coding, not just the "hows". Do you think you could help me out with this? You seem to know what you're doing.
Please someone.. if you guys really that lazy to show me so nooby thing then what if i offer like 5$ for this? I'd really like to know how to properly host a rsps
