Hey guys, i know it probably seems simple but the server doesn't run jack shit for me. Need help figuring out why or someone to explain in detail how to setup this base? I got the ant/ivy installed, server runs but gives me a memory error "GC," and client doesn't connect. Ain't sure if its being initialized properly or if I fked up while setting it up but some advice is kindly appreciated. Had to use gradle to load it but even then still not working.

I'm not new to rsps, but haven't worked with it for a while so need some refreshment and help for this base as i really dont wanna use PI and work with its poor code.

Unless Graham is around to give me a hand.

    Thanks.

GC stands for garbage collection. You might have to allocate more space to the JVM. You can do this in the run configuration under vm arguments (assuming youbusw intellij, eclipse should be similiar) or define it directly in your run script.

Could you perhaps share the error ur experiencing? As this is not a lot of information work work with

I must warn you though, the step from PI to Apollo can be a little demotivating. Maybe not if youíre already confident in java. But if you arenít, then Apollo probably isnít the best environment to learm new concepts in.
I suggest to maybe start off with Asteria or Ruse (which is a huge improvement over PI as the old standard). If u insist on trying out apollo, I can set it up for you. Just pm me ur skype

Thanks man, been using ruse on the side to fuck around with but i hate using pi, i used to use it a lot but so many bugs and just written so terribly. I believe its pi too as I learned from other people, and I also heard apollo is pretty good and I like to challenge myself with newer coding.

I dont got skype, but if you dont mind explaining detail how to that'd be awesome via pm. Havent tried Asteria, whats it based from?

There is a tutorial to install apollo but doesnt help as much lol. I can spot the JVM arguments in eclipse, but what should I write in the box? should i put
    Code:
    -XX:-UseGCOverheadLimit
    ?

    thanks!
