I'm sorry if this is posted and answered elsewhere.

I've been trying to host a server from my computer to play with a few of my buddies, and I have successfully port-forwarded already. At this point my only error is this.

My server refuses binding to my IP address. I'm using the InterventionX Client and Source (714 revision) and I was unable to find answers in relation to my problem elsewhere. I'm an inexperienced developer/coder and was wondering how I would go about fixing this situation.

    I appreciate all feedback.

Here is the screenshot of the issue:

I have blacked out my IP address for security reasons but understand that it is my current public IP address.

Have you imported all the jar files into your project? Seems like your missing one to run your server.

As far as I can tell I have. I'm not sure how I'd be able to find that out.

Edit: The server runs just fine when I local host.

If you've already portforwarded and Open Port Check Tool recognizes the port as open, then you'll need to close it.

The port should only be open when the server runs, so that could be your problem.

I have checked my port and it is open when I run the server, the server just doesn't bind to my IP.

Is it open when you aren't running the server?

If so, maybe there's a server already running in the background.

Actually it's not running when the server isn't running.

Do you run this with eclipse?

Have you also tried host local and tried make the client connect towards the server?
