Eclipse is especially easy to use. If you really have that much trouble with it, shoot me a pm with your Skype.

A server do not run a bat file, but you can make a bat file run a server.

Your server aka source doesn't run bat files. A bat file run the server, or even compiles it. It's basically the same job as the IDE does. Whatever you do, set up a project in Eclipse or another IDE, don't stick with Notepad++. I was in your boots back in the day, if I just took the time back then to set up and use Eclipse I might as well would have been able to succeed, at least increased the chances of success slightly. Besides, any source can be run with a bat file.
