As the title suggest. I'm new to an extent undefinable, so sorry if it's a nooby question. What I'm seeking is the cleanest base but also the easiest, as I'm new like I said. I won't use PI as I want it to eventually become a decent RSPS (in 1 year's time).

    Thanks in advance.

Apollo or hyperion is the best in my opinion, and i'd recommend it if you want to be "good".

Which is easiest? I plan on eventually adding all the features that osrs has.

erm depends what you want. Apollo does majority of it's content through Ruby, whereas hyperion doesn't really use a plugin system, so I guess in terms of content writing, i'd say Hyperion.

Apollo would be the better option, but for someone inexperienced it would be quite difficult to even begin to understand what's happening. You should use actual java tutorials to learn java and not by rsps means.

ScapeEmulator is a RuneScape server emulator, created by myself and Graham, which targets build 530 of the game. It is written in Java 7, and can be built with Apache Maven.

Not really what I looked for when wanting to make a OSRS server. Looks like some decent developers made it though so I can see why you'd post it.

Any specific things you think I should watch? Sorry for being a complete noob. Just don't want to watch tutorials that don't help me in areas I don't need.
