Are you using the clipping system, that nearly all servers now have? If so, it's probably checking the object before it's being 'removed'.

Title says it all really, I've tried a number of methods to resolve this yet nothing has helped. Basically when i remove an object, the object becomes invisible, yet it is still clipped and the play cannot walk on the tile where the object used to be.
(Removed the range in edgeville)
