OT:
Use eclipse.
|
So i downloaded a package containing both of the source and client within. So i open the source..right.. And then i found that there was no "run" or "compiler" files in there. So i thought, "how in the egg am i going to be able to compile and run this thang?" so i then head to the client... No luck was to be found. Still no compiler and run file in the client either. So i am really stuck on how i am supposed to run this. Its like virtuepk 803 i believe. If you guys can help i greatly would appreciate it have a nice day!!

Use eclipse.
Not a hard question. I'll let you figure it out.
well you can either use eclipse, which automatically compiles the info for you without you having to do it, also, if you click on the client folder in eclipse and press the run button "green button with triangle in it" it will run the client and open up the client interface, and same goes for the server, you just run them both at the same time,
orrrr, the hard way you can go to regular notepad not ++ just regular, and type in what would normal be in a run.bat/compiler such as like the @echo and the java crap that leads to your jdk etc, then when u go to save it, go to file, save as.. and save to your desktop or the server/client folder where ever you want really, but where it says "save as type" click the scroll down thing and press all types, then go and change the file name to, say its your compiler for your client you just created, you would name it compiler.bat, whatever the name is, just make sure to put .bat and problem solved!
