First of all, sorry for my bad english... im panamenian.

I just downloaded a server named Project-Exile and it used to work fine till i renamed the cache... now it seems like it notices about the login and then denys the connection... what causes the client say error conecting to server. (Yes i have changed ip's and port forwarded my router)

same happend before out of nowhere with another source i used to practice on, i would be so thankfull if someone could help me fixing this seriously...

my skype is torickk.herrera i will be on waiting for someone intersted on helping this noob member .

    thanks in advance.

    There could be a few various problems;

    One:

When you renamed the Cache, did you also change it in the client files as well? The client needs to know which Cache it is supposed to be loading in order for it to work successfully.

    Two:

You have portforwarded your router? Do you have a no-ip account set up to hold a static IP? Otherwise, the IP on your computer changes every once in a while automatically, and if not set to static, you'll need to change the IP in the client files once more.

    Three:

I am not calling you stupid, but this is quite a common problem that people don't tend to notice, but is your server actually open and running?

    Four:

Make sure your firewall, or another program is not using/blocking the port. Otherwise the server will not run at all.

    Hope I helped.

I would say. turn your firewall off

if you port forward correctly and Have the right ip in your client + complied it ?

    should work
and if your not aware of it your source has to be running ?

It would be a good idea to check that the port is actually open.

    Go here: Port Checker

It's not the best checker out there, but it does the job.

    Let me know.

just did the canyouseeme while the server was online and it replied me: Success: I can see your service on 186.*** on port (43594).
so yes, ports are not the problem , as i said! client notices about the client but i think the server denys the connection, probably an antileech or something... it shows no errors tho so i dont know what to do, im lost.

That sounds highly stupid that a server suddenly denies connection after changing the cached directory name.
