I don't mean to be ignorant, I understand you're looking for a good PI base but you're better off using Hyperion or Apollo (Pref. Apollo). A 'clean' PI isn't far from the standard PI release.

I'm still learning Java, and I'm waiting for Asteria v2 before I start using runesource, runesource is too incomplete for me to use yet for my knowledge.

You chould try http://www.rune-server.org/runescape...34-kaizen.html ; It's basically Senpai's release with the skills and minigames removed. I think its been repackaged as well but its not hard to package it back to your liking if you're using Eclipse. Best of luck with whatever you're doing!

Don't let others affect what you want to do. You can do anything you put your mind too! =)

I don't understand why people recommend Apollo; It''s very complex and its core content is meant to be written in Ruby. Hyperion is alright if you're wanting to start from fresh however I would much prefer someone to use RS2 Server and clean it to their liking because Hyperion's core is pretty bad.

He recommends Apollo because of it's plugin system. It was created for people who aren't exactly 'program-savvy' and because of how easy it is to take plugins and add them with ease.
    All the best,

I recommend Apollo or Hyperion, but since you're looking for a Clean PI.. Why not download a regular source that's been released and remove ALL the content? That way you learn how to implement better, along with making classes and such. I did that when I first began, but it got boring so I decided to make a RSC Source from complete scratch.
