Instead of doing it the crappy way, holding an integer for the player to determine what their dragonfire shield charge is, how would i go about giving 1 specific item a value itself, as in, this shield charges to 10 charges, the shields sold to another player, but still holds its 10 charges?

i am very keen to figure this out, i just am unsure of how to proceed....

any and all help, information regarding said topic will be greatly appreciated and repped for. Thanks!

You could add different weapons with different charges client sided, whenever something is degraded, change its item id.
