So I'm curious as to how I would make an item on the "rare" drop table more rare or less rare. Or from looking at the drop table, how can I determine the percentage chance of getting an item form the "rare" table.

Here is my abby demons drop for example, I wish to find out the current percentage chance of getting a whip, and make it more rare, what would i do?
I just need a better understanding of how it works

    Code:
    #abyssal demon
    1615:43	556:150	560:70	379:3	1373:1	1201:1	1618:2	562:50	1149:1	1319:1	1113:1	1147:1	1622:3	2364:3	1249:1	892:50	1247:1	1620:3	565:50	995:10000	1615:1	830:1	1185:1	563:50	1624:3
    2366:1	4151:1

If I remember correctly, there should be only 2 lines for the drop system. First line being norml/common drops and 2nd being the rare drop. The precentage of getting a rare is the number by the npc Id, in your case, 43% for an item from the rare drop table to be obtained, but idk..

    You're talking about in NPCDrops.java?

Well if its 43% chance, thats almost 50/50, and i've been testing it, killed over 50 abby demons no whip yet. So I don't see how that could be the case.

I don't remember how PI's drop system work tbh, just play around with it. Try making it 1 and see if you get anything, then make it 100 and check, then just check whatever numbers and see what you suits you.

Alright Visual, 1615:43 means the rate is "about" 43 kills, like, every time you kill one, it's like rolling a 43 sided dice, and there only one that will allows you to acess to the second row of the 'drop table'

    Which is :

    2366:1 4151:1

Means you have 1:43 chance of getting a rare drop, whatever it is, but at this point, you can also get 2366, so it should be +- 86 kills in that cases, but some are lucky and will get two whips, some others will get twice the 2366, but that's about what the rate is.
