    I've been wanting to host my server for beta a couple times, but I haven't ever been able to get my ports open.

    I've followed tutorials exactly right, I've opened the port '43594' Start/end ports, enabled, disabled the SPI firewall, etc.

    I've added exceptions in my Windows Firewall to open the ports as well, it doesn't help.

    I've used the site canyouseeme to check if my port's open or not, and they're still closed, I've had this problem on two routers now and it's getting quiet aggravating, I'm wondering if anyone can help me with this, I've had several individuals look at my settings and they couldn't get it to work either., I've even tried the SPI portfowarding tool, it doesn't help.

    If anyone can help me open the ports, I'd appreciate it, and they'll be thanked.

    you will still need to portforward a vps because its still a server; computer.

    If you are 100% sure you portforwarded it then i would suggest checking your client port and server port, if you dont know where they are tell me the base server and client name you are using.

    I've gone through 4 vps hosters the past 4 months and they've all had the ports open already.

    I'm hoping this is what you're talking about,
    Server;

    Code:
    	static {
    		serverlistenerPort = 43594;
    		cycleRate = 600;
    		shutdownServer = false;
    		engineTimer = new SimpleTimer();
    		debugTimer = new SimpleTimer();
    		sleepTime = 0;
    		debugPercentFormat = new DecimalFormat("0.0#%");
    	}
    Client;
    Code:
    loginMessage1 = "";
    				loginMessage2 = "Connecting to server...";
    				drawLoginScreen(true);
    			}
    			socketStream = new RSSocket(this, openSocket(43594 + portOff));

    Most VPSes have all ports forwarded by default.

    And he said he's using canyouseeme to check so it's obviously not a source problem.

    @OP, make sure you're forwarding both TCP and UDP protocols.

    If you feel like it could be a firewall problem, try completely disabling it and seeing if that works.

    Port forwarding can be messed up due to a variety of things so it's usually a little hard to tell what exactly is wrong.
    Did I help answer your question? Signs of appreciation are always, well, appreciated!!!
