Hey guys!
I'm using PI btw.
Whenever myself or my players login to my server, they are invisible and whenever they talk it comes up with " null" overwriting their name... It's almost like they simply aren't being loaded properly.
There are no errors regarding the client CMD and the server CMD
Picture:
If you look at the picture, you see that on the minimap, I'm seen but you can't actually see me. Also, on any other clients, I don't even show up on the minimap! Very strange error, can anyone help?
I've had a look around the files that I thought would cause these problems but it all seemed to be OK. So I'm pretty stuck now, If anyone could perhaps shed some light on what file I need to be looking in i'd be very grateful.
Thanks,
Harryy
Probably due to player appearence updating, writing head icons perhaps, have you tried logging in on an unedited 317 client?
I had this problem not too long ago as well. Did some renaming to the client.
I've thoroughly tested it and with me it wasn't anything related to playerUpdating.
I can't say a solution because I just reverted to a previous version where everything still worked fine .
I could have a look at your server and client tomorrow to see if I spot anything strange.
At least if you want.
Did your server work with the previous client (the older client you mentioned)?
Did you make any changed to the client (code itself, cache)?
PM me your skype name (or any other contact details) if you would allow me to look around.
BTW, what program for editing java code?
I forget what method but it's in player.java
It came up as invisible on a previous client (One that should work if it was a client error)
Yes I made changes to the code, however I can't remember what and also it may have been one of my developers D:
I'll pm you now And tell me what program you'd prefer and if I haven't got it I'll go download
No errors at all sir.
I shall have a look around there, tyvm.
