You should start with Delta. If you know Java a little then you should start with PI. If you're really good in Java then i suggest use Apollo or Hyperion.

No, never have anything to do with delta.

Use PI and look up java guides, look up PI guides, also.

    That's how I learned..

Apollo is pretty good if you know what you're doing as it's not beat in with shit.

Well obviously he doesn't as he's new to RSPS.

Runesource is a great base to get started on. Not only is it pretty bare it follows decent programming conventions and practices. Since you're just starting out you shouldn't have to deal with packages JUST YET. Give it shot. It's what I based Azure off of.

apollo or hyperion. All these bases are written in the same language so I don't see how experience has anything to do with which base you should use. PI is only gonna seem easier to the beginner because he has a million tutorials and snippets to leach off of but that doesn't teach you a damn thing

PI is just as bad as Delta. They will only teach you bad habits.

If you're completely new to Java, don't start with RSPS. Go buy a book, and read it.

Once you've read it, use either Apollo, RuneSource, or Hyperion.

Or use Apollo with an IDE.
