Alright so I'm starting to learn java and I'm only a beginner. I'm working on a project with what I learn from youtube, and various other places. I had this idea which I think is great and I was just wondering if this is possible to make. Here it goes:
I want to make a server were at the beginning you are to choose which one of the gods you would like to follow and learn their ways to become a god. (I'm going to add more than the 4 or 5 gods there is so people could have a somewhat wide collection.) Once you choose a god you start off at a rank of 0 and as you level all your skills to level 10 you become a Noobie. Then so on until you reach maxed. However here's the twist. There will be limited shops with crap items so most items you will need to buy from players.
If you chose lets say Armadyl you can only wield armadyl items and rune, dragon, etc... but when you reach max you can choose which other gods power you would like to learn.
I'm not going to go in deeper as this is an original idea, and I don't care how long this will take I'm willing to do it, while learning to code Java. I was just wondering if this is possible. Thanks.
This forum needs a little creativity for RSPS as they're all the same.

How couldn't this be possible? It just depends if you are able to code it yourself or not.
Just wanted to no if its possible so I don't spend days working on this to find out if it isn't possible. Thanks. Also as I said I'm learning Java so I'm a beginner but I will go on learning more and more until this project is finished with and is ready to host. I love Java coding even though I know probably 1% of what you know .
It seems like a really creative idea. It's possible if you'll put your time and effort into it. Good luck.
yea its possable but.. you better be prepared to spend hours doing it
Thanks sir. I will be putting 110% effort into this as I always to have a unique private server.
I really like this idea, and yes it is possible. I'd gladly follow your project.
I really agree with your creativity argument haha, here these helped me a lot: Introduction to Java Programming Video Lecture Course
Here's some advice as well don't use the new boston, his conventions are awful... And yeah I like your ideas.
This is a good idea and it sounds pretty cool, Good Luck.
@Dedicati0n & Bruce Thanks guys. Will be posting a project thread soon once I plan this out.
