    Hello guys,

I wanted to ask does my internet cable that goes from router has to be connected to my laptop for portforwarding the server?as that cable is now connected to a box which provides internet to everyone in my house, but if I connect it to my laptop it will only provide for my laptop,so does the wire has to be connected to open all of the ports just for portwarfarding step?

Euhh you can connect it to your laptop so you just have to open 1 port. But you can also open the ports in both systems.

Well if you're running it localhost, just connect to localhost. (if you're running and playing at your laptop). If your server is running at your laptop, and you're playing at your desktop. Use your ip4 ip to connect to it. If you want to make it so that you want to connect from school to it, you've to open your ports.
