You need to use shell scripts.

    nohup java -Xmx512m -cp bin:libs/netty-3.2.7.Final.jar:libs/xstream-1.4.2.jar:libs/kxml2-2.3.0.jar:libs/kxml2-min-2.3.0.jar net.ultimatescape.rs2.Server 1 > logs/world_1.out 2>&1 &
You should be able to get it to run of my example

    Code:
    java -Xmx800m -cp bin:deps/poi.jar:deps/mysql.jar:deps/mina.jar:deps/slf4j.jar:deps/slf4j-nop.jar:deps/jython.jar:log4j-1.2.15.jar: server.Server
    Save it as Run.sh

    go into terminal

    sh Run.sh

Should start it if it works then type

    CTRL+C

    nohup sh Run.sh

    to kill the java type

    "killall java"

Listen children don't become this guy.
