I am just curious, would shards be a stable source? I know it isn't much for content, but I could work with it. I am just curious, is shards better (stability-wise) than hyperion or am I completely wrong? I just remember PI being bad because it creates so many instances for every player as with shards when I look into it, i see only the bare necessities being loaded for players when they log onto the server and the only time that it is creating an instance for any player is when an action is being committed through the server's GameEngine class. Or am I completely wrong about that too? I am actually hoping for a reply. I know Hyperion got caught on really quick and it was, and is, one of the better sources out there. I actually just want to know what exactly is wrong with SHARDS and why didn't it catch on as much? Is it just an out dated source anymore?
I just need this to know what base I should really start on. Any suggestions? I am not looking for a lot of content, I just want the basics. Like what shards has or what hyperion normally has. Thanks in advance and I will rep for every GOOD answer. I would like at least a reason why I should use the source, and perhaps a link?
