Hi,i had recently made my 639 rsps and i have no idea how to host it.So i planned to search up: how to host a dementhium 639 and it said u will need linux/ubuntu so i went to cloudshare and got my 14 day trial with ubuntu 10.04 server. Soon as my linux server had loaded and it is like a cmd processor and it asked for log in/pw and i put my login and pw...but i have no idea how does a linux/ubuntu relate with hosting my server?

He probably doesnt have TV for a linux based server.
It's really not beginner friendly to use.... but then again
go to terminal.
cd home/
cd nextFolder/
cd nextFolder/
java Server.jar

Should just buy a windows VPS so simple to use, just a normal computer.
Thanks for that guide but i dont really get this thats why i need some one to do it for me. Also i have tried this on a Windows vps and how ever it is a demethium 639 source so im not able to do it on windows, because when i run.bat it says "server bound to port 43594" whereas it doesnt load the cache. Thanks so far for the help.
Oh!! Was that vpsland.com? I HIGHLY RECCOMEND you switch to windows vps for a $10 fee... It'll be the same monthly cost though.
