client.java
find "server" it comes up like this twice
server = 127.0.0.1
go on google and type in "my ip"
it will be in bold at the top of your search results
copy and paste that in client.java to replace 127.0.0.1 or what ever is there now
post forwarding is different for everyone but best way to test it is going to
Open Port Check Tool
type in the port which is :43594
it will tell you if the ports open, if it isnt you havent done it correctly
go on
Port Forwarding Guides Listed by Manufacturer and Model - PortForward.com
find your router
it will tell you how to open the port.
for me on windows, its as follows
you need to type in a number for "Lan IP Adress" which you can get by pressing start, and search for or open the program CMD
black box pops up
type in "ipconfig"
without the """"""
your looking for Ipv4 Address
the last number of that string of numbers is what you put in your LAN Ip address box
protocol type needs to be both so we do this process twice, one with this box set to UDP and one with it set to TCP
Lan post is 43594
public post is 43594
so it shud look something like this:
LAN IP / protocol type / lan port / public port
your number / TCP / 43594 / 43594
your number / UDP / 43594 / 43594
hope this help if so Rep me
