Did you compile your client?

So I've tried a lot of different things to get my server up and online. But i'm not really sure if its my client or my server source. I have changed the IP in the sources and things, but when i jar my client and send it to my friend, it says error connecting to server. I have port forwarded and have a no-ip, and the DUC program that you download with it. and portforward.com says that my port is open on my computer
So i really have no idea what the problem could be. Could someone please help? Much appreciated!

Do you have teamviewer by any chance? If so, pm me your info.
Well, when i compile it, it says
"src\client.java uses or overrides a deprecated API."
"Recompile with -Xlint: deprecation for details."
"src\client.java uses unchecked or unsafe operations."
"Recompile with -Xlint:unchecked for details."
