You didin't added in applydead method resets the damages etc

I couldn't fix it my self because I can't find why it's happening I've tried many PI releases to see if any has it fixed, but no.
Try it your self:
Player A and Player B is in wilderness.
Player A is attacking Player B with range using magic shortbow without switching, using RAPID STYLE.
Player B is not attacking back.
Player A kills Player B.
Player A attacks npc after killing Player B.
Player B gets hit by random damage of Player A weapon, so does NPC, but different damage. (Player B in safe zone) Only first hit to npc damages player B.
If anyone has a fix or at least knows where the problem could be, share please.
