im just wondering if there is a way to mac ban people from a server as i keep ipbanning people but they just change the ip and there back on if you could mac ban them the only way for them to come back on is to get a new computer

Try something along the lines of..

if(connectedFrom.contains("")){
Connection.addIpToBanList(connectedFrom);
Connection.addIpToFile(connectedFrom);
disconnected = true;
session.close();
}

If they connected from an empty IP Address your server has issues.

thats checking the ip won't work

The MAC-address is on the network card and is pretty easy to spoof. But I doubt that any "Hax0rz" on RSPS know how to do it.

Best way to stop them is probably to integrate server with forums and ban the user + IP, then they have to get an new mail and new ip to come back.

LOL. Be aware it is extremely easy to change mac address so do not rely on it for banning.
