Base:Many Questions to ask
Problem: how do i make it to where the .class files do not open with a specified program

Before he answers, you don't need to open the ".class"-files.
The .java files are converted to .class files which are used by the JVM to run the program. Humans cannot understand the code in .class, but they can understand the code inside a .java file.
Right click > Open With>
